Bag Books

Bag Books is a UK-wide charity providing tactile and multi-sensory books to people with learning
disabilities. Multi-sensory books can be enjoyed without being understood. They are designed for people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (a maximum developmental age of 18 months), people with Severe Learning Disabilities (a maximum developmental age of 6 years) or people with severe Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

BookTrust

At British Blind Sport, we help blind and partially sighted people get active and
play sport. Sport and recreational activities can enhance the lives of blind and partially sighted people, by improving their health and increasing their social interaction. We encourage adults and
children to participate in activities at all levels, from grassroots to the Paralympic Games.
The British Red Cross has been helping millions of people in the UK and around the world get the support they need when crisis strikes.
A self-help organisation with more than 1800 members, the BSSA is dedicated to providing mutual support and information to individuals affected by this disabling disease. We have regional
support groups throughout the UK whose members include sufferers and supporters who work together in helping one another cope with the day-to-day challenges of this debilitating and distressing condition.
The British Wireless for the Blind Fund provides high quality, easy to use audio equipment which has been specially designed and adapted for listeners living with sight loss. All radios are made available on Free Loan to Blind and Partially Sighted people who meet our criteria. If you don't qualify, the radios are also available to purchase through BWBF Direct.
