Nystagmus Awareness Day - 20th June 2024
Nystagmus Awareness Day is the annual event that aims to spread the word about this eye condition, so that adults and children who have nystagmus will get the help, support and services they need in education, employment, health, mobility and leisure, and will enjoy a better quality of life.
Nystagmus Network (NN) is a membership organisation that provides information and support to people with the condition, their families and professionals working with them, and also funds research. Support includes:
- Provision of free factsheets and other materials which can be downloaded from the website. They cover issues such as benefits, treatment options, and an education hub.
- An information and support line which can be contacted on 01427 718093 or via email at info@nystagmusnet.org.
- Virtual support networks that meet monthly.
