Job opportunity with Guide Dogs Cymru - Policy & Public Affairs Manager
Guide Dogs Cymru is looking to appoint an external affairs manager to lead on the development of policy and campaigns within Wales.
The successful applicant will be building on the work of Andrea Gordon, a guide dog owner who lived and breathed the role for 20 years. Andrea said: “I found it a real advantage to be visually impaired. When you speak from lived experience, it carries so much weight with officials and politicians. What you say has integrity and you can be more persuasive.” This is a home-based role, however, the successful candidate must live within a reasonable travelling distance of the Cardiff office
