Blind in Business 'Building Prospects' employability skills programme
Blind in Business has revised its 'Building Prospects' employability skills programme for young people and has scheduled sessions in October.
The programme is now more practical and engaging, with interactive sessions helping young people develop employability skills, learn from others and feel better prepared for whatever comes next. The cohort will be split into two different age groups - KS4 (ages 13 to 16, year groups 9 to 11) and KS5 (ages 16 to 19, year groups 12 and 13). Please find below details of the dates for each age group:
- KS4: Mondays, 5 October–16 November, 5pm–6pm
- KS5: Thursdays, 8 October–19 November, 5pm–6pm
- Where: Online via Zoom
The sessions will cover various topics such as identifying your passions and interests, transferable skills and digital literacy. The ultimate goal is to build confidence and develop employability skills through fun, interactive sessions in a safe space where students share their ideas and learn from others.
