Share your experiences of Vision Rehabilitation with your local Member of the Senedd
RNIB Cymru is calling for urgent action to reduce the delays to vision rehabilitation that impact thousands of people across Wales.
Vision Rehabilitation equips blind and partially sighted people with the skills and support they need to live independently. This could include white cane training, cooking skills or adaptations to the home. RNIB Cymru want to send a clear message to the Senedd; vision rehabilitation is an essential, life-changing service that everyone with sight loss should be able to access - whenever they need it.
Has vision rehabilitation helped you to learn new skills and maintain your independence? Or are you struggling to access the service and waiting for support? Whatever your story, make your voice heard by sending a postcard to your Member of the Senedd (MS) to let them know why vision rehabilitation matters, using this link. Taking part is simple. Just fill in your details so your MS knows you live in their constituency. To make your postcard even more powerful, you can also add your own message. RNIB staff will add these to the back of the postcard and handle printing and posting.
No one’s life should be put on pause because of delays. Please support the call for an end to the postcode lottery of vision rehabilitation services across Wales.
