Disabled candidates in Senedd Elections urged to apply early for the Access to Elected Office Fund
Disability Wales is encouraging any people with disabilities who are standing in May's Senedd Elections to apply early for the Access to Elected Office Fund Wales.
An early application will ensure that any additional support they need can be put in place in good time. The Access to Elected Office Fund Wales provides financial support for disabled candidates with impairment-related costs such as personal assistants, accessible transport, and assistive technology. The fund is non-partisan and open to candidates standing for a political party or as an independent.
