Be My Eyes and Tesco partner to make shopping more accessible
Be My Eyes has partnered with Tesco for a six-month pilot to bring on-demand, in-store visual support to blind and partially sighted customers across the UK. The new service allows customers to connect directly with trained Tesco agents through the Be My Eyes Service Directory for real-time assistance while shopping.
The agents will be able to help with issues such as product identification, offers & promotions and using self-service checkout & touchpoints. Tesco is the first major supermarket in Europe to join Be My Eyes in offering on-demand support for blind and partially sighted customers.
