First hospital-based pre-registration optometrist in Wales approaches qualification
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has announced that Wales’ first hospital-based pre-registration optometrist has entered her final year of training to become a fully qualified optometrist, describing it as 'a groundbreaking milestone in NHS Wales' and a 'testament to the steps being taken to enhance patient care and provide specialised optometry services in hospital settings'.
