Sight Cymru Social Support Groups

Here is the current list of social support groups that are run by Sight Cymru:

  • Abergavenny, alternate Mondays from 2 pm to 4 pm at Trinity Church, Baker Street, NP7 5BH.
  • Barry, fortnightly on Tuesdays from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm at Golau Ceredig, Gladstone Road, CF62 7AZ.
  • Blackwood, alternate Mondays from 11 am to 12.30 pm at Blackwood Town Council Building.
  • Cowbridge, alternate Tuesdays 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at Cowbridge Library.
  • Caldicott, alternate Tuesdays from 12 noon to 2 pm at Haywain Pub, Caldicott, NP26 4NE.
  • Newport, alternate Thursdays from 12 noon to 2 pm at Salvation Army Hall, Hill Street, NP20 1LZ
  • Penarth Book Club, second Friday of the month from 2 pm to 3 pm at Penarth Library.
  • Penarth Group, monthly on the third Friday from 10 am to 12 noon at Penarth Library.
  • Monmouth Group, monthly from 2 pm to 4 pm at Wyesham Fellowship Hall, NP25 3NN.
  • Risca Group, alternate Wednesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm at Dan Y Graig Church Hall, Risca, NP11 6DT.
  • Torfaen Club, alternate Mondays from 1 pm to 3 pm at the main Sight Cymru building in Pontypool.
  • Tredegar Group, meets monthly from 10 am to 12 noon at Tredegar Library.
  • Sightlife Group for people of BAME background with vision impairment, meets monthly on the second Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm at Army Hall, Hill Street, NP20 1LZ.
Sight Cymru also has a VI Tennis group that meets at the International Sports Village in Spytty Newport weekly on a Tuesday from 10-12 and coaching is available. The first session is free as a taster.
