Guide Dogs Family Event in Pembrokeshire

Guide Dogs is holding a family event at Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire in South West Wales on Saturday 13th September.

Guide Dogs' family days out are a great way for your family to relax, have fun together and meet other families with a child with sight loss. They also allow children with a vision impairment to build confidence and make lifelong friends. The event starts at Folly Farm at 10am, where Guide Dogs staff will be waiting for you in the fun fair restaurant. Staff from Education, Family Support, Technology, Buddy Dog and Habilitation Services will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have. Each family will receive refreshment vouchers, which can be redeemed at any time for hot and cold beverages throughout the park. Bring a picnic to enjoy in the picnic area. To make the experience even more enjoyable, families will be given ride tokens so they can enjoy some attractions at the fairground and play area. Additional tokens can be purchased from booths throughout the park.

The day will be a great opportunity to meet with other children and families, plus Guide Dogs staff who support families in South Wales. Children with a vision impairment plus one parent/guardian are free and immediate family members are £7.50 each. To register your interest please contact the Family Events Team via email on familyevents@guidedogs.org.uk.
