New research funding for diabetic eye disease
Diabetes UK, Fight for Sight, Moorfields Eye Charity and the Macular Society have joined forces to fund new research to reduce the risk of sight loss for people living with diabetes.
This follows worrying news that delays to regular eye screening for people with diabetes due to the pandemic has led to an increase in people experiencing issues with their sight.
