Help Shape the Future of Walking, Wheeling and Cycling in Neath Port Talbot

Neath Port Talbot Council is updating its Active Travel Network Map (ATNM) and is running a public consultation on the changes. The ATNM sets out the existing network of walking, wheeling and cycling routes across the County Borough, alongside proposals for future routes. The updated map includes:

  • 21 new future routes across the Neath Port Talbot
  • 11 modifications to future routes
These proposals aim to improve connectivity between communities, enhance access to key destinations such as schools and local centres, and support safer and more accessible everyday journeys.

The council is inviting residents and stakeholders to provide their views on the updated ATNM proposals by responding to the consultation, before the map is submitted to the Welsh Government for approval later this year.
