Hedydd Dance Company project at Galeri, Carnarvon
Hedydd Dance Company is running a project in dance, textiles and music based at Galeri, Caernarfon. The project is aimed at bringing together people from the visually impaired community, Ukranian community, GISDA - young people’s LGBTQ+ group and Cain - elders dance group.
The project will include a series of master classes in movement, music and textiles and a stage performance in the foyer of Galeri Caernarfon. It is an opportunity to create, learn new skills, meet new people and share stories through movement, songwriting and textile work. Everyone from the age of 16 is invited. No previous experience is required - just a willingness to try. Free of charge.
Masterclasses will be held in May, June and July, with rehearsals between 13th and 15th July and a performance on 16th July. Travel and access costs could be provided should this be a barrier in taking part.
