Thomas Pocklington Trust 'Get Set Progress' internships 2026/27 are open
Thomas Pocklington Trust are offering a range of paid internship opportunities for blind and partially sighted people across the UK. Whether you're looking to take your first significant step into work or return to employment after sight loss, there could be an opportunity that's right for you.
Get Set Progress is more than an internship programme. Since 2015, it has supported more than 150 interns, with three out of four interns moving into employment, education or training within six months of completing the programme. These opportunities are made possible through collaboration with RNIB and a range of partner organisations that will be hosting interns and supporting them throughout their journey. Alongside valuable work experience, interns can build skills, confidence and professional networks, with access to tailored support along the way.
New vacancies will continue to go live throughout the summer, so it's worth checking back regularly. Each role is different, and you are encouraged you to explore the listings carefully to find the one that's the right fit for you. Some application deadlines are as early as 14 July, so it's a good idea to get your application in as soon as you can.
If you have any questions about the internships, you can email internships@pocklington.org.uk. If you need help putting together your application or updating your CV, TPT's Employment team is also here to support you – just drop them a message at employment@pocklington.org.uk.
