'My Macular and Me' webinars
The Macular Society runs a monthly webinar, giving people affected by the condition and those working with them the chance to find out more about macular conditions from experts.
Events usually take place on the third Tuesday of the month and focus on topics for patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The next one will be on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 7.30 pm and will focus on the new insights from a project at Kings College London’s Centre for Gene Therapy and Regenerative Medicine, and how developing more accurate disease models could help improve future treatments for macular disease. You can catch up with recordings of previous events, which cover topics including the benefits of registering a sight impaired and genetic counselling for macular disease, here.
