Audio Described Christmas Shows 2025

Theatres across Wales will be putting on Christmas shows over the festive season, and some audio described performances scheduled. These are the ones we’ve heard about:

  • Theatre Clwyd, Mold on Saturday 6th December at 7 pm, Sunday 14th December at 1 pm and Saturday 10th January at 2 pm, ‘Cinderella’.
  • Sherman Theatre, Cardiff on Saturday 13th December at 7 pm, ‘Alice: Return to Wonderland’(for age 7+), and on Saturday 20th December at 11 am, ‘The Frog Prince’ (for ages 3 to 6).
  • Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd November at 7 pm (plus Saturday at 3 pm), ‘Christmas No. 1’ and on Saturday 22nd November at 2.30 pm, ‘Christmas Carol goes Wrong’. All performances preceded by Touch Tour. Details of both shows here.
  • Cardiff New Theatre on Saturday 3rd January at 2.30 pm, ‘Sleeping Beauty’.
  • The Riverfront, Newport on Monday 29th December at 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm, ‘Rapunzel', (with pre-show Touch Tour).
  • ICC Wales, Newport on Monday 22nd December at 3 pm, ‘Scrooge! A Cirque Spectacular’.
  • Venue Cymru, Llandudno on Sunday 21st December at 5 pm, ‘Cinderella’.

The Hynt scheme entitles eligible cardholders to a ticket free-of-charge for personal assistants or carers to be used across participating theatres and venues in Wales.
