New Deafblind UK research centre launched at Birmingham City University
Deafblind UK has announced the opening of their new Centre for Education and Research, at Birmingham City University. The Centre will advance understanding of deafblindness, develop innovative support solutions and nurture future specialists, to make the world a better place for people impacted by dual sensory loss.
The Centre, which is the first of its kind, will connect researchers, practitioners, and people living with dual sensory loss to increase knowledge and raise awareness. It will also equip junior researchers and the workforce with the knowledge and skills to become future leaders in deafblindness research and practice. You can read more here.
