Transport for Wales 'Travel Companions' to assist disabled passengers
Rail passengers with a vision impairment can travel around Wales more confidently, thanks to a new initiative by Transport for Wales.
Teams of Travel Companions have been employed at Cardiff, Swansea, Chester, Newport and Shrewsbury stations to help people with additional needs to feel more confident when travelling.
Guide dog owners recently went to Swansea station to meet the Travel Companion team and find out how the new roles would work. You can find out more on their Facebook page (scroll down to entry on 27th April).
Visit the Transport for Wales website to find out more about accessible travel on the network.
