Our IT service provides
advice, one-to-one
training, short term equipment loan, and some financial support towards purchasing equipment. The service is completely free and we do not sell equipment, we just advise and support. Try before you buy: if you want to try before you buy, we can offer the loan of phones and tablets for 2 weeks. This would help you decide on the type of
technology that meets your requirements and skills. We have an iPad and iPhone as well as an
Android Synapptic tablet and phone.
Eye Connect is a project designed to connect
vision impaired children and
young people and give them a voice in their community. The project ensures that: children, young people and families have the support they need to feel more confident and thrive emotionally; youth organisations across Wales are equipped to welcome and include vision impaired children and young people in their settings; children and young people can make lasting connections with each other and build a sense of community; children and young people will have a stronger voice in their community and be able to influence change.
A peer
support group where you can share your experiences, tips and hints around all things Tech. The meetings take place bi-monthly via Zoom.
Social group in North Wales centred on using accessible
technology. Bring along your iPad, tablet, laptop or iPhone for
advice and support with accessible technology, while also having a chance to chat to other individuals with a
vision impairment.
