VICTA Christmas competition - Tree for Treats 2026
VICTA's annual Christmas competition is open. 'Tree for Treats' invites vision impaired children and young people aged 12 to 18 years to make a home-made decoration, ideally one with a sensory element to the decoration, such as a Christmassy scent, a tactile feel, or jingly bells.
This year's theme is Raymond Briggs's book 'The Snowman'. Schools with a VI base, specialist vision impaired schools, and organisations supporting VI children can also enter decorations created by students that have a vision impairment into a special category. Every child who enters will receive a small Christmas treat, and there are prizes for the winners. For more information and to apply click here, The closing date is 20th November.
