VICTA provide grants for children and young people for visual aid equipment and for vacation schemes.

VICTA events and activities

VICTA organise a wide range of activities and week-ends for vi children and their families. Although most activities are in England so likely to be impractical for people from Wales, the longer breaks are worth considering.

VICTA Parent Workshop – 'Get Workplace Ready' course (Hereford)

VICTA is running a three-month 'Get Workplace Ready' course for young adults with sight loss aged 18-29 who are not in education, employment or training and looking to enter the workplace. The course consists of a five-day residential at the Royal National College for the Blind, Hereford from 28th October to 2nd November followed by self-study at home, and is free to attend.
