September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September), the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is highlighting the signs of retinoblastoma that parents and health professionals should be aware of, so that it can be diagnosed and treated as early as possible.

You can read about the signs to look for on the CHECT website. The site also includes the personal story of a mother whose four month old son was diagnosed with Rb, and who is urging other parents to look out for the tell-tale signs of eye cancer, which you can read here.

CHECT is the organisation which supports the families of children with Retinoblastoma (Rb), raises awareness and funds research into the condition.
