Fight for Sight launches the Children and Young People with Vision Impairment Funding Programme
Fight for Sight, the organisation that funds scientific and social change research into vision loss, has announced a new initiative designed to transform understanding of services and resources available to children and young people with vision impairment in the UK. It is to be run together with the Powell Family Foundation and Thomas Pocklington Trust.
The project has been launched to address problems such as fragmented provision of services and inconsistent access to specialist support across the sector, and will commence with initial UK-wide mapping phase, estimated to run to Summer 2026.
