Guide Dogs Cymru is recruiting three Academy Guide Dog Mobility Specialists to join its training programme starting August 2026 at the office in Cardiff. This is a permanent, full-time role, and once you complete training, you’ll be based from the Cardiff office.
Guide Dogs Academy is where people train to become the next generation of Guide Dog Mobility Specialists. This is a key role in creating successful partnerships between guide dogs and people with sight loss. It demands skill, patience, and resilience, but the reward is knowing you’ve helped someone regain independence and confidence.
