Blind in Business, in partnership with KPMG, is offering year 11-13 students with vision impairment an exciting 3-day virtual work experience designed to give a real insight into careers in business and professional services at a leading global firm. No prior experience is needed - just curiosity.

Step into the world of professional services with KPMG! This opportunity is exclusively for blind or partially sighted students in school Years 11–13 (ages 16–19) who are interested in exploring careers in Tax, Audit, Finance, or Professional Services. What you’ll do & learn:

  • Discover what a career at KPMG is really like, including roles in Audit & Tax
  • Take on a real-world business challenge, working in teams to develop ideas and present them to KPMG professionals
  • Meet graduates and apprentices, hear their stories, and ask questions
  • Build essential skills — interview confidence, teamwork, and personal branding
  • Connect with other students while gaining experience that will strengthen your CV and future applications
The event will be held on line (via Microsoft Teams) from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th May (at 11:00 – 15:15 each day). Spaces are limited and applications will close on Sunday 17th May. You can register your interest here.

Please note, applicants will be required to complete a short interview before joining. This helps Blind in Business to ensure the programme is right for you and allows us to discuss any support needs. If you have any questions you can get in touch via joe@blindinbusiness.org.uk or call 02073824606.
