Tennis Wales offer support to set up vi tennis sessions for groups

Tennis Wales, the national governing body of tennis and padel in Wales, is offering groups representing people with sight loss support to set up vision impaired tennis sessions.

This support includes:

  • Free specialist equipment and kit (including audible balls)
  • Kick-start funding to help launch sessions
  • Training and ongoing support
  • Guidance on how to grow sustainable groups
Visually impaired tennis is accessible, social and adaptable for a wide range of abilities, and Tennis Wales is keen to work alongside local organisations to make it more widely available across Wales.

If this is something your group may be interested in exploring, please contact Stuart Baker, National Development Manager at Tennis Wales on 07904 664817. He will arrange a short conversation to talk through what support looks like and how we could help you get started. There is no obligation, just an opportunity to expand provision with strong national backing and funding in place.
