S.P.A.C.E. – Stakeholder Parent and Carer Engagement Meetings

Stakeholder Parent and Carer Engagement Meetings (S.P.A.C.E) is a coalition of charities and families of disabled children across Wales, led by Family Fund and PIWS. With elections to the Welsh Senedd taking place in May, parents are being urged to get involved, to help to ensure that families are not just consulted but are actively shaping the future of policy and practice in Wales.

Meetings happen every 3 months (March, June, September, December) and are hybrid – you can join in person or online. Locations change across Wales (e.g. Bangor, Wrexham, Aberystwyth, Swansea, Cardiff) and are open to parents as well as health and education professionals and representatives of charities/third sector organisations.

You can find out more about S.P.A.C.E here, and can register your interest by completing this short form.
