Royal Society for Blind Children 'Moving on up Group: Transitioning to Secondary School'
The Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC)'s 'Moving on up Group' is for young people who are in Year 6 and you want to share their thoughts and chat with others who will be moving to Year 7 in September 2026. The group meets monthly, via Zoom.
RSBC's Family Practitioners will be there to answer your questions and offer practical tips to make the move to a new, larger school easier. We’ll talk about everything from finding your way around to settling into new routines, and you can chat with other young people who are going through the same thing. The group meets meet once a month on Wednesdays and dates for 2026 (subject to change) are 11th February, 11th March, 22nd April, 20th May, 17th June, 15th July, 12th Aug, 9th Sept and 7th October.
