Digital technology and visual impairment research - webinar

Researchers on the 'Digital Technologies to support Social Wellbeing of community dwelling adults in receipt of social care' (DiTSoW II) project are holding a webinar to share findings from their recent research to explore how (and if) digital technologies can support the social wellbeing of older people with vision loss.

They are keen that discussions at this webinar sense check their findings and co-create some recommendations for policy and practice, and are inclusive of a wide representation of different stakeholders – this includes people with lived experience, local authority representatives, those working in sensory services, voluntary, charity and health organisations who support either digital inclusion, visual impairment and/or older adults in the community. Therefore, places will be allocated to reflect this mix. The webinar is on 4th December from 1.00pm to 2.30pm and you can request a place by sending an email to Dr Alison Tingle, Research Fellow at University of Hertfordshire: a.tingle@herts.ac.uk.
