Blind in Business 'Prospects Pathway | Llwybr y Dyfodol' - Introductory session
Has your child begun thinking about how their skills and interests could shape a meaningful future career? Are they curious about how their sight loss can be supported and accommodated in the workplace? In 2026, a brand-new programme will be launching across Wales in 2026, delivered by Blind in Business. An introductory session will be held on Tuesday 25th November.
The Blind in Business Pathways service, designed specifically for 14 to 18-year-olds, gives young people the chance to explore their strengths, develop practical employability skills, and understand the workplace adjustments that can support their independence. Through tailored guidance, workshops, and one-to-one support, Pathways helps young people build confidence, discover career possibilities, and take their next steps with self-belief. From January 2026, Blind in Business will be hosting a virtual employability skills workshop exclusively for children and young people across Wales. This brand-new programme, Prospects Pathway | Llwybr y Dyfodol, will encourage participants to connect with their passions, map out the skills they need to achieve their career ambitions, and receive practical advice on key areas such as work experience, disability disclosure, CV writing, and interview preparation.
It all kicks off on Tuesday 25th November at 6:30pm with an introductory webinar. During this session, you’ll have the chance to meet members of the Blind in Business team, hear more about the support available, and learn what you can expect from Prospects Pathway | Llwybr y Dyfodol.
