RNIB Free Festive Season Telephone Groups

RNIB's Talk and Support service will be taking their usual two-week break from running their regular groups over the festive period. During this period (Monday 22nd December to Friday 2nd January) Talk and Support will be running some festive groups which will allow participants and volunteers to continue to access the service.

The seasonal festive groups available are:

  • Short story groups - Christmas themed stories are read to the group
  • Reminiscence groups
  • Quiz groups – various topics
  • General befriending groups so that people can come together with other people they would not normally get to speak to during the year.
Anyone who is interested can either contact Talk and Support directly on 0207 391 2218 or e-mail TalkandSupport.Mailbox@rnib.org.uk. This offer is open to everyone living with visual impairment whether they are already signed up to the ‘Talk and Support’ service or not. Customers can join multiple Seasonal groups of their choice. As always, the groups will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
