Casablanca - A Live Radio Play with audio description

'Casablanca - A Live Radio Play', a tale of wartime love, loss and displacement will be visiting several venues in Wales during late November and early December. The show is presented by Lighthouse Theatre Ltd, the 1940’s live radio play company, with audio description by Word of Mouth. Details are:

  • Friday 21st November at 7.30pm at Aberystwyth Arts Centre. Box Office 01970 623 232. A pre show touch tour is available between 6.30 and 7pm. To reserve a place on the touch tour, please contact Aberystwyth Arts Centre, on 01970 623232.
  • Tuesday 25th November at 7.30pm at Gwyn Hall, Neath. Box Office 0300 365 6677. This performance will be audio described.   • Wednesday 3rd December at 7.30pm at The Borough Theatre, Abergavenny, Box Office 01873 850 805. This performance will be audio described.   • Friday 5th December at 7.30pm at the Riverfront, Newport, Box Office 01633 656 757. This performance will be audio described, with a touch available from 6.30 to 7pm. The Riverfront has an exciting system in place for audio description, the Sennheiser Mobile Connect system. The system allows you to use your smartphone as a receiver. Download the free of charge Sennhesier Mobile Connect app to your phone, plug in some headphones and you’re ready to listen to the audio description. If you have a bluetooth hearing aid, this can be used instead of headphones. The theatre also has some handsets and headphones of its own, with the app already downloaded.
Casablanca – A Live Radio Play is a co-production with Pontardawe Arts Centre and is presented with the help of Arts Council Wales, Ty Cerdd and Night Out.
