RNIB UK-wide Telephone Courses for people with sight loss and their families
RNIB runs telephone courses for a people with sight loss across the UK, covering a variety of topics. The following courses are scheduled in December:
- Money Matters: A course which aims to help you shop independently and to manage your money. Two 90-minute sessions on Friday 5th and 12th December starting at 11 am. For more information and to a book place on this course click here.
- Focus on the Cost of Living: A course for adults of all ages with a vision impairment and their friends and family members, designed to help them to learn more about the help and support services available in response to the cost of living crisis. There will be advice on topics such as benefits, support with utility bills and mental health in one 90-minute session on Monday 15th December at 2 pm. - Focus on Friends and Family: A course for adults of all ages who are friends, family members or anyone close to someone with a visual impairment, designed to help them deal with the impact that a loved one’s sight loss can have. Four one-hour sessions on Thursdays 15th, 22nd, 29th January and 5th February from 11 am to 12 pm, book here.
