'Demand the Impossible' - audio described performances in Newport
Demand the Impossible is part-performance, part punk-gig, part-sensory experience, exploring police injustice and the undercover infiltration of activist networks. It challenges us to question truth, trust and power, as uncomfortable relationships between the state, police and citizens are exposed.
The show is being performed at the Corn Exchange in Newport from 6th to 13th October. Touch tour and audio description is available on Thursday 9th October at the 7.30 pm performance, as well as both the Saturday 11th October matinee and evening shows. Touch tours are free and enable people to explore the performance space, set and props ahead of the show. Audio description will be provided by experienced theatre professional Beth House, and will ensure that blind and visually impaired audiences can engage with and enjoy all parts of the show.
If you need a companion, carer or personal assistant to attend Demand The Impossible with you, please contact the venue to arrange a complimentary ticket for them. Please also get in touch if you have any other access related questions. Concession tickets are self-selecting and cost £7. To find out more contact chantal@commonwealththeatre.co.uk.
