Changes to Sight Life groups
Some changes have been made to information about groups run by Sight Life as follows:
- Treorchy Macular Society group is now a Sight Life group and called the Treorchy sight loss group. Sight Life has recently welcomed the Treorchy Macular group as part of its own and committed to supporting it moving forward.
- Llanharan Sight Loss Group is now the Pontyclun & District Sight Loss group and has recently moved from Llanharan to Hope Penuel Chapel, Castan Road, Pontyclun. The group meets every second Monday afternoon of the month from 1.30 – 3.30pm. This group is for anyone with sight loss, family, friends, and carers living around that area who enjoys a social group setting with refreshments, speakers, and activities.
- Aberdare sight loss group meet every second Thursday of the month from 1.30 – 3.30pm in Cynon Linc, Seymour Street, Aberdare. This older person’s group enjoy tea, coffee, and cakes with regular guest speakers.
