RNIB seeks Lived Experience Community Members to help Shape the Future of Accessible Travel (voluntary roles)

RNIB is looking for blind and partially sighted individuals to help shape the future of accessible travel as part of a project with the Motability Foundation. It is an opportunity to share your experiences, create ideas, and test concepts.

Details are:

  • Participants needed: Blind and partially sighted people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Role: Share personal travel experiences, create ideas for future transport, and test concepts, at workshop type sessions.
  • Requirements: Be 18 years old or over, access to MS Teams for virtual sessions, and willingness to attend workshops (virtual or in-person in likely to be London)
  • Compensation: Travel costs reimbursed and a £50 voucher for full-day workshops will be provided.
  • Duration: Project runs until the end of March 2026, with workshops likely in Autumn/Winter 2025.
