Redesign of National Slate Museum, Llanberis: Accessibility Consultation events

The National Slate Museum in Llanberis, in collaboration with Direct Access, invites D/deaf and disabled people to a consultation event on Tuesday 5th November 2024 to discuss your views and thoughts of the redesign of the museum.

The purpose of the consultation is to reach out to D/deaf and disabled people to find out what they think about the redesign of the museum and to share their experience on accessibility. The views of people with sight loss and the organisations representing them are welcomed. Sign Language Interpreters have been booked and refreshments will be provided. The event is on Tuesday 5th November 2024 from 11am – 1pm at Reichel Hall, Bangor University, Ffriddoedd Road, Bangor, LL57 2TR. You can find out more about the redesign project here.

The museum would also like to invite participants for a tour of the museum before the consultation to explain the redesign. This event will be held at National Slate Museum, Llanberis, LL55 4TY on Tuesday 29th October at 11am, There will be activities on the day if you wish to join in!
