'Moving on Up' . As this year's pupils get close to their move to secondary school in September, it's not too late for anyone to join this group which will continue until November, simply sign up via the website. The next sessions will be on Tuesday 6th August, 3rd September and 24th September. A new group will begin in January 2025.
Connecting Families and Early Years Connecting Families continue to meet. On 20th August, one of RSBC's new Youth Ambassadors will join the group to talk about their experiences of growing up with a visual impairment, their lessons learnt and challenges overcome. Connect Families Early Years is running a session in August about Benefits and Grants, co-hosted by RSBC's Information and Advice Officer - great if a family is exploring DLA or sensory equipment.
You can find RSBC's full activity schedule on their website.
