Learning disability and sight loss - resources from SeeAbility
People with learning disabilities are ten times more likely to have serious sight problems. For Learning Disability Week (17th to 23rd June), we have a reminder that SeeAbility, the organisation supporting people who have learning disabilities or autism, who may also have sight loss has produced a range of easy read guides to eye conditions and eye care.
These include guides to glaucoma, keratokonus and diabetes, and factsheets on topics such as having a cataract operation and using eye drops.
You can access the full range of easy read guides here.
