'Funding Visual Impairment' - Report calls for increased funding for research
A new report into the sight loss sector from think-tank and consultancy New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) reveals that most funding goes to services which improve quality of life, with just 3% going to research.
The report calls for 'a healthy balance between reactive and preventative work' pointing out that the number of people with sight loss is expected to double by 2050. You can find out more and download the full report, Funding Visual Impairment, here.
