Campaign by Vision Express highlights the importance of eye health during the menopause
High street opticians Vision Express has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the potential impact of the menopause on eye health, and the importance of eye care and regular sight tests during this time in a woman's life.
The follows research, conducted by Eye Health UK in collaboration with Thomas Pocklington Trust, which found that 86 per cent of women were unaware there was a connection between the two, despite the menopause being said to trigger conditions such as Dry Eye syndrome, glaucoma and cataracts.
