Sight loss charities make public commitment to increasing the number of vision impaired people employed within the sector
Eight sight loss charities, including Guide Dogs, Retina UK, The Macular Society and RNIB, have issued a joint statement, committing them to increasing the employment of blind and partially sighted people within their sector.
This is in recognition that they need to set an example to other employers, and the number of VI people employed in the sector are lower than might be expected. You can find out more, and read the full statement, on the Guide Dogs website.
