Welsh Government launches Loneliness and Isolation strategy
The Welsh Government has published its strategy for tackling loneliness and social isolation.
The report notes that disabled people are one of several groups of people who may experience higher levels of loneliness and social isolation. It identifies four priorities for action:
- Increasing opportunities for people to connect
- Provide a community infrastructure that supports connected communities
- Building cohesive and supportive communities
- Building awareness and promoting positive attitudes
