NICE issues new clinical guidance for Age-Related Macular Degeneration
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has issued revised guidance on the diagnosis and management of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), following a consultation exercise conducted during 2017. The guidance has been welcomed by the Macular Society, as it will allow the condition to be treated at an earlier stage.
