Description: In 2013, AFBP conducted research into the experiences of blind and partially sighted people before, during and after their sight loss diagnosis. Action’s staff had received anecdotal evidence that some people newly diagnosed with sight loss were not receiving sufficient information and support at, and directly after, the point of diagnosis. This report provides an overview of our findings, and a crucial insight into the support requirements of people at various stages of the sight loss journey.
