Wales Council of the Blind

Holes outdoor circus Show - audio described (Swansea)

Holes is beautiful, fun, playful, participatory and provocative. Two women (aerial hoop artists), one blind, come across a hole in space. They tumble into it and guide us through their wondrous imaginative journey. As the piece progresses the relationship between the two women becomes more mischievous and ambiguous. Are they friends? Sisters? Two sides of the same person? The show is bilingual in Welsh and English with embedded audio description. It exposes the experience of visually impaired people from the start and embeds it in the heart of the performance for all. The show has been designed to be accessible to vision impaired audiences with a tactile set and audio description throughout.
