Challenging Perceptions is a free community-driven event aimed at raising awareness of ageism by showcasing the capabilities, creativity, and contributions of older adults. Through an inspiring day of interactive exhibits, support stalls, and taster sessions.

• Support & Information Zone: A range of stalls offering resources, services, and signposting for older adults and families
• Taster Sessions: Physical and creative sessions open to all, showcasing accessible activities across ability levels
• Exhibition: A powerful visual and audio-led space featuring photos, artworks, personal achievements, and participant stories, some in podcast-style recordings to demonstrate lived experience beyond stereotypes
