Hi Vis Fortnight 2026 - Shine a light on accessible reading in your community
Hi Vis Fortnight is the annual event that aims to celebrate all things related to accessible libraries and reading, and to raise awareness about the services that are on offer for people with a vision or print impairment. This year's event takes place from 1st to 14th June, and RNIB is inviting you to explore your local library during this period and share what’s on offer for blind and partially sighted readers by completing a short form.
All you need to do is check if your library stocks audio books or large print titles, then complete this short form to share what you found. Your feedback will help RNIB to build a clearer picture of accessible book services across the UK and ensure everyone has the chance to enjoy reading in a format that works for them.
