College of Optometrists publishes manifesto for Wales - 'Securing sustainable eye care'
In advance of the elections to the Welsh Senedd on 7th May, the College of Optometrists has published its manifesto for Wales - 'Securing sustainable eye care'.The manifesto calls on the next Welsh Government to building on existing good practice in Welsh eye care by addressing four key priorities:
- Build a fully digital eye care service
- Continue to expand community eye care services
- Invest in a sustainable, skilled optometry workforce
- Address inequalities in access to eye care
