Opportunity to help research into use of passkeys by vision impaired people

Researchers at Bristol University are conducting a study to understand the barriers faced by blind and partially sighted individuals to use passkeys. The study will consist of one in-person (in Bristol) and one online focus group to capture the views of participants from different parts of the UK. They are inviting blind and partially sighted individuals, and community workers/carers who support them with their security tasks, to participate in the focus groups.

Passkeys are a secure digital credential that allows users to log into digital services using their fingerprints or face scan. The focus groups will last around one hour and as a thankyou, participants will be offered a £25 voucher. If you are interested in participating, please contact Partha Das Chowdhury via email on partha.daschowdhury@bristol.ac.uk.
